Our Charter Organization
We are chartered by the
Cherokee Christian Children's Ranch (Triple C Ranch) in Coker Creek.
It is a Christian children's
adoption community. We meet at the
Smoky Mountain Christian Camp (SMCC)
behind the Coker Creek post office.
Our scouts come from the adoption ranch, neighboring churches &
schools.
Where Are We?
Thank you for visiting
the online home of Troop 116. We are a brand new troop
that launched in March 2008 to deliver the promise of the Scouting adventure. We meet weekly on Tuesday nights from 7:00

If you're interested in the outdoors and
in learning more about leadership, we'd invite you to check us out. Our outdoor
program is top-notch, with plenty of new things to do and new friends to do it
with.
Who Can Join?
Scouts.
Boy Scouting is available to boys
who are at least 11 years old and have completed
the fifth grade but not yet 18 years old.
Anyone is welcome to
visit.
The program achieves the BSA's objectives of developing
character, citizenship, and personal fitness.

Adults.
No Scouting experience is necessary. Do you
love kids and the outdoors? The Boy Scouts of America has excellent
leadership training for both boys and adults. We care about your boys and are committed to safety and trained leaders.
The BSA is America's largest trainer for gun & water
safety, as well youth protection. We have a clear training path for Troop
Committee (support) or Assistant Scoutmaster (skill & leadership instruction).
